Quicken Classic Mac , suddenly says wife's IRA = $0.00

Options

When I go to connect, I make sure all the sub accounts for IRA are not connected, but the main account that is suppose to have $, also says $0.00.

Checking, Savings seems work fine… This just happened, and noticed after the LBS Financial Credit Union Visa stopped working, and I reconnected that to fix.

So is this Quicken fault or Credit union.

@Tom11 Could you clarify what you mean by "sub accounts for IRA" and "main account"? There's no concept of sub-accounts in Quicken Mac. Or do you just mean most of your IRA money is in one account, which you're referring to as the "main account"?

I researched google and sub accounts, are accounts available to me, if I want to place some of the funds in a separate location for certain needs. I do not use them, thus NO CONNECTION for them. But having trouble with the main IRA account, which only shows $0.00 balance during reconnection. All others Sharedraft (Checking), Savings and Money Market are fine.

Thanks for the screenshot. Unfortunately, I'm still not sure I know what "sub accounts" or "sub shares" are. That's not a term I'm familiar with regarding either IRAs (I don't profess to be an expert!) or Quicken Mac. Is this some feature your financial institution offers? Also, I'm a little confused about the screenshot showing each account as Savings, when you said this is an IRA. In Quicken Mac, an IRA is not defined as a savings account (and visa versa); an IRA account must be defined as Traditional IRA (or other IRA type), not as Savings.

It might also help others here offer advice if you share what financial institution you're working with.

    1. Financial Institution is given in the very first statement in the thread.
    2. Search Google for Credit Union Sub Accounts, and you will learn what I learned.
    3. IRA is kept as a Savings account in Quicken for Mac. And these are the choices Choices.png
