How do I get One Step Update to Stop Reactivating Selected Accounts?

I am having to continuously manually deactivate One Step Update for two of my credit union accounts. Those accounts were having download accuracy issues, so I have opted to not include them in One Step Update, instead relying on downloading transaction updates directly from the credit union's website. However, after deactivating the One Step Update for both accounts, they revert to being components of One Step Update following my manual credit union transaction update. How do I get One Step Update to stop reactivating those accounts download? I need both accounts to remain in my Quicken Classic list of accounts.

  • @springsoak - you can only select or deselect financial institutions from the OSU, not individual accounts that have the same log-on credentials. If you have different log-ons for a financial institution, you can select or deselect by log-on. If you have multiple accounts with the same log-on at the credit union, you cannot exclude just two of the accounts from OSU. This is probably why the two accounts keep getting added back.

You would need to deselect or deactivate all your accounts at the credit union from OSU. Then all of your accounts would then need to have updates downloaded directly from the credit union's website.
