Multiple accounts at Northwestern Mutual not working in Quicken Premier Desktop
My wife and I both have NWM accounts and we want to aggregate them into our Quicken Premier application but are unable to get both accounts to sync. I think this has to do with the either the limitations of Quicken having 2 separate accounts at the same bank or the device api key is somehow only linked to my account so when we put her info in it is failing out.
My account is pulling in all of our investment accounts, but when I go to add a new account and put her info in, I just get an error saying "Sorry. We encountered an error. (It's not your fault.)". I have verified the Quicken app has approved access on the NWM side, but no matter how many times I try to get this to work it wont.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are these employer-sponsored accounts (such as profit-sharing or 401(k)) and do you work for the same employer?
Because my wife and I (both retired) have separate accounts at our bank and our brokerage … and there was no problem setting up both for download.
Also, what Q product are you running and what BUILD of that product? This info is at HELP, About Quicken.
And when you do TOOLS, Account List, what shows in the "Transaction Download" column adjacent to your NWM account(s) and what shows in the "Financial Institution" column for the accounts? IF the name column isn't shown, it can be added via the OPTIONS button

- These accounts are a combination of IRA and standard Brokerage accounts and are NOT employer sponsored.
- When I look at the accounts that are sync'd (mine) from NWM, under the account list, they show "Yes (Direct Connect)".
- Financial institution shows "Northwestern Mutual Inv Svs-NMIS"
- I am on
- Quicken Classic Premier
- Version: R63.21
- Build: 27.1.63.21
Other brokerage platforms we use (like Schwab) seem to work just fine for both my wifes access and mine, it's only NWM that has the issue.

HMMM, Have you tried searching on Northwestern in the box at the top of the home page?
There seem to be a lot of recent posts about them.
Also, have you tried contacting Q Support via the link at the top of this page.
And, how long has this been happening? After a recent (or few) program update? Or longer?

I reported the problem to Quicken several weeks ago but no clue if it got looked at or was received (I did this through the Help → Report a Problem menu option).
We recently got my wifes accounts moved to NWM so this is a new account I am trying to import and have not been able to.
I guess I am just SOL for now.
