Request: Report Default Start and End Dates

Each year, I generate a report to the court for my Guardianship holdings. The Guardianship book keeping is similar to a business that operates on a fiscal year rather than a calendar year.

The start of my Guardianship was on 8/2/22, so each year I have to generate reports from the 8/2 of last year to 8/1 of this year. There are numerous reports, so it would be extremely helpful to be able to set a default date for the Start and the End Dates (i.e. 8/2/24 to 8/1/25) for the upcoming reports.

I am aware that the start date can be set to a default date (by going to 'edit', 'Preferences'), but the end date is always set to today's date.

I am requesting to be able to set defaults for both the start date and the end date, just like in 'Customize' in the 'Reports and Graphs Center. I can't understand why it would be different the two separate places.

The reason I want this is to prepare my reports ahead of time for publication on 8/2/25 with the correct 8/2 date written in the titles several days before the end of the month.
