Can't get the opening page for reconciling

I've been using Quicken Classic Deluxe for many years. This is the first that I've run into this problem There is no way for me to enter the closing date or closing balance.

    @slm5c it sounds like you are using a manual reconciling screen. If you do a Ctrl-R, what reconciling screen shows? Is this where you usually were able to enter a closing date and balance? Did the reconciling window change?
