Help with delete attachment!!! (Q Mac)

I cannot delete an attachment. Have asked several times for help, but no support team response. I read about left click (no such thing?) and three dots (no dots on my laptop version). This has been a problem for over a year.

I think you mean "right-click"; left click is just a regular tap on the track pad. To bring up the context menu you can press the Control key & tap the trackpad. Or you can do a two fingered tap on the trackpad. But you don't even need to use the context menus to handle this.
To delete an attachment on a transaction, you can simply double click the transaction to open it for editing, click Edit Details, then click on the Attachments tab. From there you can add or delete attachments. You can also do it through the context menu by control-tapping on the transaction then selecting Attachments > Show Attachments from the pop-up menu.
For attachments on an account, you can select the account in the sidebar then from the Accounts menu select Show Account Attachments, then you can add & remove account attachments from the window that opens up. You can also get there by control-tapping the account and selecting Attachments > Show Account Attachments from the pop-up menu.

I think the un-intuitive thing in the user interface is that you can't just delete an attachment with a click or two. As @Jon described, the first method requires (1) double click the transaction, (2) open for Editing, (3) select Attachments, (4) click on the attachment you want to delete, (5) click Delete, and (6) click Save.
The second method is slightly faster, but still requires (1) Control-click on the transaction, (2) select Attachments > Show Attachments, (3) click on the attachment you want to delete, (4) click Delete, and (5) click Save.
A third method is available if you have the Attachments column visible in the register. (1) Click on the attachment icon on the transaction row, (2) select Show Attachments from the pop-up menu, (3) click on the attachment you want to delete, (4) click Delete, and (5) click Save.
I'd expect that a Control-click might provide an option to Delete Attachment(s) in one step, but that doesn't exist. The developers were probably concerned that users might delete one or more attachments without realizing what they were deleting, so they force us to first view the attachments — even if there's only one — to select and delete it.

A further note about deleting attachments. If you accidentally delete an attachment you can get it back as long as you don't exit Quicken - deleting attachments is an Undo-able edit. However, once you exit Quicken deleted attachments are gone for good, as they are not moved to the trash bin.
