Quicken windows - How to Clean Up Old Accounts and Categories

I’ve been a longtime user of Quicken over 20 years. I’d like to clean it up. Start fresh. There are lots of accounts that I don’t use anymore lots of categories that can be forgotten some that need renaming etc. what’s the easiest way to do and when? I don’t want to screw up reports that I use for taxes at the end of the year.
