Why am I receiving a notice that I need to install an update

Windows 11, Chrome Browser, Quicken Classic Version 63.21, Build 27.1.63.21

I keep receiving a message that there is an update for Quicken. When I click on the message I am told that I am using the current version.

    While it may seem odd that you're receiving a prompt to update despite already being on the current version (R63.21), this typically points to a hiccup during the original in-product update. To rule this out, we recommend manually downloading and installing the Manual Patch for your version using this support article.

    Even though the Manual Patch is the same version as what you already have installed, it performs a complete reinstall of all components, which can correct any partial or corrupted files that might be causing the repeated update prompt.

    Before installing, we suggest creating a backup of your data file for peace of mind.

    If the issue persists after installing, then it confirms that further troubleshooting is needed.
