I am getting a blank screen when I try to add an account

Using Quicken Classic on the PC. I can update all of my existing accounts, but when I try to add a new account, I get a blank screen. For example, if I try to add Vanguard - I select "Vanguard" from the add account screen, a blue circle flashes for a few moments, and then the window is blank. I can back out of the window and try again, but the same thing happens. I am also unable to connect to Quicken help from the PC app. I am using a work computer, but no VPN is connected. Please help!

    Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're running into this blank screen issue when trying to add a new account.

    To help narrow things down, I have a few questions for you:

    1. Are you using any antivirus, firewall, or endpoint protection software on your work computer that might be interfering with Quicken’s ability to display the Add Account window or connect to our servers?
    2. When the blank screen appears, does it stay completely white/blank, or is there any partial content (like a frame, header, or error message)?
    3. Have you recently made any changes to your system settings, like Windows updates, display scaling adjustments, or changes to your default browser?
    4. Since you're unable to access Help from within Quicken either, are you able to open Quicken’s One Step Update Summary or any other internet-connected windows within the app?
    5. Can you confirm whether Quicken is running in Admin mode? (You can check this by right-clicking the Quicken icon and selecting Run as Administrator.)
