After restoring a backup, some old Chase and Ally transactions are downloading

Now some Anomalies unrelated to Fidelity EWC+ … So I reverted back to a pre-transition backup, and all of my Fidelity accounts now appear to be updating correctly, though I will check again tomorrow to see if the trades I placed today show up. However, an Ally Bank account, and a Chase Credit Card account have begun picking up (in "Downloaded Transactions") a small number of transactions from 1-2 years ago. These transactions already exist in these accounts and show up and are marked "cleared". I simply deleted them yesterday, but they showed up again today. Advice ? Just keep deleting them ?

I had to Accept the old downloaded transactions in order to ascertain the Downloaded ID. All of them (8 in total) were different the pre-existing transactions. After accepting them, I went ahead and deleted them. I'll check tomorrow or the days following to see if they once again re-appear. Previously I was simply deleting them without first Accepting them. Maybe Accepting and then deleting them will make a difference

After following the guidance above, the "old" transactions did not re-appear as freshly downloaded ones.

    Thank you for your replies,

I'm glad to hear that accepting the transactions, then deleting them, seems to have corrected the issue.

If the issue returns, or if you need further assistance, please feel free to reach out!
