Some of my Morgan Stanley (Etrade Accounts) doubled the portfolio amounts in Quicken overnight. Amounts are correct in my Morgan Stanley account.

Hello @LMoore,
Thanks for sharing these details!
Before you try any troubleshooting, I recommend saving a backup of your Quicken file just to be safe.
Since you’re seeing doubled portfolio amounts overnight for your Morgan Stanley (Etrade) accounts, here are a couple of things to check:
- Check for Placeholder Entries
Scroll to the bottom of the account register and look for any greyed-out transactions—these are placeholders. Sometimes placeholders can cause balances to show incorrectly.
If you see any, try deleting them by selecting the placeholder and choosing Delete. - Possible Cash Balance Double Counting
Sometimes the cash balance gets counted twice—once as cash and again as a security—which can cause your portfolio amounts to appear doubled.
Also, you might find this Community Post helpful—another user had a similar doubling issue and shared a solution that worked for them.
Let us know how it goes!
