Fidelity Investments Simple Tracking Issue after Cutover - Not updating Quotes correctly

Question

After the Fidelity Transition, Security Prices are not updating correctly. There is no error. I even tried to delete the account and re-add the account, but the price quotes seem to be stuck. Daily Highs and low update, but not current price. Is there a fix for this?

Hello All,

Over the past few years, several large investment firms have moved their connections to EWC+, which, once fully implemented, functions the same as Direct Connect.

Each firm’s transition may include unique challenges, and occasional issues can occur during the process. To ensure a smooth implementation, Fidelity began their migration in phases, starting with an optional migration period in late July.

At this time, Fidelity has paused the migration for additional users while both their team and ours work to resolve the issues that have been identified. Throughout this process, Fidelity has been a strong partner to Quicken and continues to work diligently to address customer concerns as they arise.

There are a few other large threads on the issues regarding the switch over at Fidelity.  I encourage you to join one or more so you can keep informed on developments.

In the meantime, I suggest you restore a backup from before you switched, then run OSU.  If it prompts you to switch, decline (remind me later).  This will restore the Direct Connect and rename the FI to zzz_Fidelity….  You'll need to redownload and reconcile all transactions but it should restore things for now.  Check in on those other threads for updates.

I restored mine and it's functioning as it should.  I plan to stay with the DC until Fidelity/Quicken cuts it off.  The current cutoff is 8/20.  Don't know if that will be extended until Quicken/Fidelity sort this out if it takes longer.
