Why are my balances in Quicken off by almost 10% compared to the online investment site?

I have 3 accounts at Schwab — two Rollover IRA accounts and a Joint Tenant cash account. I do regular updates via electronic download, but my balances on these accounts are way off from what shows on the Schwab web site. The cash account is only off by less than $100, but the IRA accounts are off by 10's of thousands. Any thoughts on why this might be?

Have you compared the quantity held in each security?

Have you compared the quote of each security?

Are these funds, which only price at the end of the day, or other securities which continuously price during the day. If "other", it could simply be that you're comparing older date (in Q) to constantly changed data.

Can you isolate the difference(s) to specific securities?

re: the cash, when was the last time that you reconciled the cash position in the account?
