add DELETE button to the EDIT window of an investment transaction

When investigating spurious transactions in an investment account register, there are investment transactions that clearly need to be deleted from a bad download. These investment transactions can be observed in various places such as SECURITY DETAIL VIEW or investment reports.

Clicking on these transactions pulls up an EDIT window that does not allow deletion (only UPDATE, CANCEL, etc.).

It seems to me that the only workflow available to delete this transaction is trying to find the transaction in the register and delete from the register (can take a lot of time and screen juggling).

A DELETE button would be helpful to directly delete the transaction and eliminate the above clumsy workflow.

If the EDIT window is invoked for an investment transaction that is for a new security then the DELETE button would be greyed out or invisible.

You can delete any downloaded transaction in the "Downloaded Transactions" window before accepting the specific transaction. Edit>delete.

Not sure what you are proposing. Do you want to be able to delete a transaction in any view after it has already been entered/accepted into the register?

Huh. I would need more details before I can vote for this suggestion.
