Received 50% off for sub expiring, doesn't work

As noted, in title, I got 50% off to entice me back to subscribe, but when I try and do it, it gives me a ERR0001 and other times with my logged in account it tries to charge me the full price. How do I get the 50% off to stick. It definitely is an email and popup from within the program that says I am eligible for the 50% off. Any help would be awesome, thanks everyone!
