When I download transactions for Fidelity CMA account, it's downloading all the Buy and Sell transactions for my core/settlement fund SPAXX. It looks like for others, SPAXX transactions are not treated as security purchases/sales (example), which is what I want, but that's not how it works for me.
Here are my settings:
- Quicken Deluxe for Windows
- Connected to Fidelity CMA account using Direct Connect.
- Financial institution is "zzz-Fidelity Investments - DC".
- I have "Show cash in a checking account" set to "Yes"
- Quicken's Preferences > Downloaded transactions > "Never interpret downloaded Money Market funds as cash" is not checked.
On Fidelity.com > Activity & Orders > More filters, I had the "View settlements in money market funds" enabled. Could that be why Fidelity has been sending Buy/Sell transactions for SPAXX?
