Install Quicken 2016 on new computer

I needed to install Quicken 2016 on a new computer and these are the steps I took to do so:

1. Backup Quicken data file on old computer (standard backup from Quicken menu)
2. Install Quicken 2016 from disc (new computer) (do not complete activation code request)
3. Install latest mondo patch (download from quicknperlwiz.com)
4. Uninstall Quicken 2016 (from Control Panel)
5. Re-install Quicken 2016 from disc
6. Copy backup Quicken file to new computer
7. open Quicken and restore backup Quicken data file

Notes: before beginning, sign into Quicken online and make sure you have a current Quicken account (if you have an old Intuit account, it will not work - create a new Quicken account)
