HSBC Connection Stopped Working

Quicken Mac Subscription Member ✭✭
For the last two days my HSBC accounts aren't updating. I tried reconnecting the accounts but no dice. Anybody else experiencing this? Most of my accounts are with HSBC so this is pretty impactful for me.

Thanks for reaching out about your HSBC accounts. I’ve checked on our end, and there don’t appear to be any internal errors affecting your accounts at this time. Are you seeing any specific error messages when trying to update or reconnect?
To help troubleshoot further, could you provide a bit more detail:
- Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your Mac’s local drive, or on a cloud/external drive (e.g., OneDrive, Dropbox, USB, etc.)?
- Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what did you attempt?
- Are you using a VPN while updating your accounts? If yes, does temporarily disabling it make any difference?
- Do you have any antivirus or security software running that could interfere with Quicken? If yes, have you tried temporarily disabling it to see if the updates work?
- Were there any recent changes to your system or software (updates, new installations, etc.) before the problem began?
Once we have these details, we can help pinpoint what might be causing the updates to fail.
