Reconcile Issue (Q Mac)

I am using quicken classic on a mac. Recently, my reconcile function is screwed up. When I try to reconcile, quicken shows the correct online bank balance and it is the same as my quicken balance. However, when I finish, it inserts an adjustment and then the account balance is incorrect. Why is this?

Thanks for reaching out! I can see how that would be frustrating—having Quicken insert an adjustment when your balances already match is definitely confusing.
To help figure out what’s going on, could you provide a bit more info?
- Where is your Quicken data file stored—is it on your Mac’s local hard drive, or on a cloud/external drive (like iCloud, Dropbox, USB, etc.)?
- Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what did you try?
- When did you first notice this problem with the reconcile function?
- Were there any recent updates or changes to Quicken or your system before this started happening?
This info will help narrow down possible causes.
