Custom Budget Dates

Why is there not a budget report available to customize the dates of a budget for a specified time? The whole reason for creating a budget, is to measure actual expenses to that budget. Example: Its September, but I want to run a report on how I was doing on my budget from January-June. All the budgeting tab shows is each month for a specific category. I've been using Quicken since the mid 90's, early 2000's for Mac. I know this was available on the Window's version initially. The television ad I just listened too states, "#1 budgeting software". This update would help validate that claim.

Customizing the dates on budget reports is a planned feature, but we don't know when it will actually appear.
