Windows - Online backup restore to different PC.

If I have to restore Quicken data file from online backup to a different PC (say because of problems with original PC), how will Quicken know the backup file is mine?

On a new machine when you open the data file it will ask you to log into your Quicken Id. That will make the connection to your account.

The online backup is only your data file.

Thanks, Chris. If I can add on, now wondering, does the online backup actually include Quicken, or should I actually get Quicken first before retrieving the backed up file for data?
