Merrill Edge not reporting shares

Since conversion to EWC, I am receiving a Securities Comparison Mismatch for all of my CD's. My shares in Quicken are showing correctly, but my Shares Reported are 0 for every CD. If I create a Placeholder all is does is increase my Net Worth with a hidden Placeholder which does note solve the problem. How do I get Merrill to report the proper shares. BTW, they are obviously all correct on the Merrill website. The complete positions and transactions in the account list, details. are already checked.

    Hello @gulf83,

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To clarify, what kind of account are these CDs being tracked in (brokerage, 401k, etc.)? You mentioned that you're seeing a securities comparison mismatch; is it giving you the option to select the correct security from the list? If it does give you that option, does selecting that security correct the issue, or do you get the same issue again the next time you update your accounts?

I look forward to your reply!

    Kristina

Thank you for your prompt reply.

These accounts are being tracked at Merrill Edge in my Cash Account.

I currently have 15 cd's in this account. After switching over to the EWC+ system, I now receive a pop up each time I reconcile the account.

ALL 15 of the cd's show a Securities Comparison Mismatch with the message

The following holdings in Quicken do not match the holdings reported by your financial institution. The shares in my Quicken Deluxe acct. are reporting properly. But the Shares Reported by Merrill are ALL 0!

    Your response:

' is it giving you the option to select the correct security from the list? If it does give you that option, does selecting that security' I'm sorry but I'm not sure I under stand what you are asking here.

It shows the cd, shares reported, shares in Quicken, Difference and Details.

Clicking on Details wants to add a Placeholder but the CD's are already accounted for in Quicken. The Placeholder will only serve to double the number shares. No sense in doing that.

For some reason Merrill is not showing the Shares Reported although on their website everything is properly accounted for.

Prior to the EWC+ change I was only having one mismatch. I have a Discover Bank CD where this bank merged with Capital Bank and Merrill now uses the Capital Bank as the Security. I've tried a number of things to correct this but nothing works.

I've used for over 20 years so I am quite familiar with the program and use it daily. I'm not sure how to get Merrill to d/l the proper shares into my account.

    Thank you.
