Fidelity Investments Reauthorization again and errors
When I upgraded to Quicken for Mac 8.3, it asked me to reauthorize my accounts for online access for Fidelity Investments. This morning, it asked for that again but it failing with assorted errors (connection error, reauthorization error, it appears to have worked but did not, etc.).

Me too, after updating to 8.3.2. Also having cash balance issues with Fidelity.

Same. It's always Fidelity. I developed software for a living and if I continually released software like this I'd be fired

Same problem. "Login failure when using partner auth credential". PAUTH_INVALID_TOKEN (FDP-350). Wants to re-authorize with Fidelity after one successful update with MAC Classic 8.3.2

I've been struggling with this all day. The thing that's even more frustrating is that yesterday downloads worked but I have incorrect data in my file now. For instance, the balance of my HSA is exactly double what it really is. My account shows an entry for FDRXX (as if it were a stock, but it is a cash equivalent) along with the cash balance. This should be either or, not both. Other mistakes like this in other accounts at Fidelity.

Hello @richard13,
Thank you for letting us know you're also impacted by this issue. Are you still having trouble today, or are you able to successfully connect and update your accounts?
For the issue with FDRXX, it sounds like you're being impacted by the change to how Fidelity sends money market and cash information to Quicken. For more information, see this Community Alert. To resolve the issue, please follow these instructions from the alert:
Customers whose cash balance is incorrect should perform a reconciliation with the online balance and enter an adjustment to correct the cash balance. From that point on, you will be good to go.
I look forward to your response!

Hello Quicken Kristina,
Thank you for your reply!
I was still having trouble connecting yesterday but today connections were restored after doing one more "Reauthorize" with Fidelity. All my active accounts selected were correctly matched.
On the issue with incorrect balances, I followed the Community Alert but it didn't quite work the way it is documented. I chose to try correcting the incorrect balance with my Fidelity HSA as it is the most straightforward. For that account, I did a reconciliation but the cash balance was already correct. The total balance including the FDRXX transaction made it doubled. So, for now, I have deleted this entry in my account transactions. If it comes back on the next download I'll create another transaction to adjust the "holding" back to zero. As of right now my balance in that account is correct.

Thank you for the follow-up @richard13,
I'm glad to hear everything is connected and correct. If that holding keeps coming back when you update your accounts, please let me know.
Thank you!

I did the reauthorization again today and it appears to have worked.

Hello Quicken Kristina,
Follow up…
The transaction didn't come back. However, since this is the first of the month and interest and dividends were paid yesterday, that transaction was downloaded today and threw off the cash/FDRXX. So, since Fidelity seems to be really going in this direction, I created a Buy transaction for FDRXX on 9/1/25 (I don't know exactly what day it happened on but no worry) in the amount of my total cash balance. Now things seem to be in harmony on that account.
Unfortunately, my Fidelity Traditional 401k is really messed up due to Fidelity playing games with the fund names/symbols and have "doubles" in there. I'm not sure where to even start with that but it's beyond the scope of this particular thread so I'll see if I can find another one here. I'm sure someone else is having the same issues as me.
Thanks,
Richard

After downloading today, FDRXX is incorrectly treated as a security again and there is no CASH Representation or reset money market option displayed. I'll upgrade to R64.30 to see that changes anything.
