New Download capability from Merrill Lynch Benefits Online downloads incorrect data

Previously, Merrill Lynch Benefits Online downloaded a QFX file, which Quicken could import. Now, one must use the Update command. It executes OK, but the data is incorrect. Portfolio holdings information is correct for equities, but not for Bond/Fixed Income. For Bond/Fixed Income, the number of shares is off by a factor of 100. HELP!!!!

    There is an Announcement posted regarding Merril Lynch no longer supporting QFX downloads. Within the announcement, there are also steps on how to import a CSV file as an alternative option.

    As for the "Update command", are you referring to the One Step Update?

    Additionally, providing a screenshot of what you are seeing with, "shares being off by a factor of 100" would be helpful as well. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Yes, I'm referring to One Step Update

    I'll attach a screen shot. You will see that the number of shares for PIMCO is 21.284003, but the actual number of shares is 2128.4003. The ML Benefits Online website shows the correct number of shares. There is the same error for the Vanguard High Yield fund. Only these two holding show the wrong number of shares. All others are correct.

    I called the Merrill Lynch Benefits Online support number yesterday. They opened a ticket with their technical team. They said someone would contact me in a couple of days.

    Still no response from Merrill Lynch. Yesterday Quicken support opened a ticket and escalated the problem.

    Any resolution to this issue yet? It has been almost a month. I have a similar issue. I use to update my ML accounts using DirectConnect and now I have to use EWC+. After switching to the EWC+ method for updating my ML accounts, the share balance for my mortgage backed (FNMA and FHLMC) bonds are off. They are not off by a factor, but are off by the amount of shares that I removed to match the Principal Payment of these bonds.

    Interestingly, my US Treasury Bond and Notes do not have this problem.

    Are you saying that you manually entered "Removed" transactions/"AdjShBal" transactions in an effort to align the data in Quicken with what you see on the bank's website?

    If so, why was a manual adjustment needed? Were there transactions missing or placeholders that needed to be resolved?

    I am having same problem with Merrill Lynch 401k incorrectly downloading the share balance of the bond fund. I ran the quicken connect method for the first time on October 28 after having used the QFX method for a dozen years. The correct number of shares is 2308.81 and the downloaded number of shares is 23.08. Has a fix for this been established yet?
