Ongoing Fidelity disaster, Quicken Mac 8.3.2

I was prompted to update my 401(k) at Fidelity NetBenefits to the "new" connection type, and everything fell apart…

  • There is a Dividend Income transaction which downloaded soon after the transition. It added to the cash balance but there has been no associated share update.
  • I recently borrowed against this account, and yesterday the first payment posted. It only posted for 3 of the 4 securities in the account. They also showed up as cash transactions without an associated share update.
  • There are 8 Sell transactions which posted, 2 per security. They are for tiny fractional share amounts but had no associated cash balance - the dollar amounts were all copied into the "Commission" field.
  • The actual Buy transactions associated with the contribution from my last pay period only showed up for 3 out of the 4 securities.

I trust that Quicken is working diligently on fixing this?

Things weren't great before the connection update, but they were better than this.

    Hello @Andrew B,

Thank you for reaching out! Which holdings are you seeing the cash update, but not shares?

To be able to verify how the sell transactions and the missing buy transaction information is being sent to Quicken, please navigate to Help>Report a Problem and send a problem report with log files attached. Please include information for the sell and buy transactions that we need to check (date/payee/amount).

Please let me know once you've sent the logs.

I look forward to your reply!
