Quicken will not accept my vault password

I'm on Quicken Windows release R64.30. I first noticed this a couple of days ago. Since I am rarely asked for pw, it may have started earlier. There seems to be no simple link to just reset the pw. I don't want to delete the vault, I just want to change the pw. Since the current pw is not working, I can't get to a point where I can reset the pw. How do I do this? Most of the questions here are about the passwords inside the vault, but I see no resolved items on how to just change the pw if the current pw doesn't work. This begs the question of why the pw quit working, but I just want to get things going again.

If you can't get the Password Vault to open you may need to delete it and create it again.

The password to the vault is encrypted and that password is not available to anyone.

Deleting the Password Vault won't delete anything else.
