Why won't Citi credit cards sync?

For over a week now, my Citi credit cards won't sync.  My account details screen on each of the affected cards says I'm using Web Connect, and that the institution supports an improved method.  I click that and click thru, eventually ending at a page that says the sign in failed "due to a time out or a connection error."

I am also having the same issue.  Mine has been going on for over a month now.  I tried all the steps you listed but that also didn't work.  I start the process to activate my account and when I get taken over to the Citi website to log in (mine is a Best Buy card) I log in, I choose the accounts, and authorize them.  I then get a message stating that the accounts have been authorized.  Then it goes back to Quicken and that is when I get the message stating that Sign in to Best Buy Credit Card bank failed.  Try again.

It was working fine one day and then it wasn't.  Based on my searches I am not the only one having this problem which appears to be on Quicken's side.  Citi/Best Buy accepts my log in with no problem.

Thanks for sharing these details. I know how frustrating it is when Citi card transactions aren’t updating the way they should.

After reviewing your account, it looks like you’re running into an internal FDP-350 error, which typically means Quicken needs to be re-authorized with Citi. To resolve this, please try the following:

* First, create a backup of your Quicken file.
* Deactivate all Citi credit card accounts in Quicken.
* Log in to your Citi account on their website and revoke Quicken’s third-party access.
* Go back to Quicken and reactivate your Citi accounts. When you’re redirected to Citi’s site, complete the authorization and then, once back in Quicken, be sure to select LINK to existing for any accounts that are already in your file.

Give that a try and let us know if it gets your Citi sync working again.
