My problem is that the downloaded investment shares are off by times 100 and shares value by 100 .

I have seen somewhere in "Help" that registers can be configured to correct for this, with the notation not for investment registers.

Using Quicken Deluxe and Bank is Wells Fargo. Any help on this?

Thanks

Is this in connection with Bonds, and maybe CDs in the portfolio? Or are you seeing this for every security?

Your headline is somewhat confusing but I'm reading this as "shares are overstated by a factor of 100 and the quote is also off by a factor of 100" but are these two errors offsetting, or both going in the same direction?

    They are offsetting errors.

There is now a view option of "Simple" which is Position Only, showing limited detail. Easy to understand but creates a value of 100 times lower than actual

Offsetting errors should cancel out. Quote x Shares = Quote/100 x Shares x 100 so it doesn't appear to be "offsetting" so I'm not exactly sure what the situation is, actually. A picture of what you're seeing would be helpful.

I've never used Simple but by converting to Simple in a seldom used file I saw that the display consists of 4 boxes:

    • a Total Value box showing "positions" detail - Security name, shares, quote and value
    • a Portfolio by security doughnut graph
    • a Top Movers box and
    • a Value Over Time bar chart

I assume you're looking at the Total Value box as the source of your statement? Does this error reflect itself in the other boxes?

If you revert to Complete does the problem vanish? And, are we talking about Bonds and CDs comprising the portfolio, or stocks and EFTs?
