Budgeting App that integrates well with Quicken Classic Mac?

I've got quicken all caught up for this year. Everything tag'd, accounts in sync with their true balances, etc.

So was ready to map out a budget and discovered the budgeting feature doesn't support rolling budget surpluses into the next month. Looks like this feature request has been in the queue for the better part of a decade. So unlikely to ever happen. Sufficed to say, any budgeting app that doesn't have this feature is fundamentally broken in my book (basically it's just a report).

Are there apps focused on budgeting that integrate well with Quicken Classic Mac? I'd rather not have to manage two of every account and their transactions. So something that sync's up would be ideal.

There's a lot of functionality Quicken Mac users have asked for in the budget section of the program which the developers have not yet gotten to address. But I want to make sure you're aware of some functionality which may partly accomplish what you're looking for…

On the main budget screen, do you have the year-to-date columns visible? These appear to the right of the category column, before the monthly columns.

These year-to-date columns show your budgeted amounts, actual amounts and the difference from the start of the year to the end of the current month. If you're not seeing these columns, and your your budget screen looks like this…

… click the « icon and the actual vs. budget columns will open up. After doing that, if these columns show "JANUARY to DECEMBER" instead of "JANUARY to OCTOBER", click the "v" button next to 2025, and select "Budget Year to Date Totals" from the pop-up menu.

While this doesn't show your over- or under-budget amounts in the current month's budget, it shows them in the YTD column. For many people, this is useful enough to understand where they stand versus their budget.

Again, I'm not saying this is perfect. For instance at the beginning of a month like we are now on October 4, you want to see January through September for budget versus actual, but Quicken only shows January through October, which is basically comparing your Jan-Sept actual to your Jan-Oct budget, which is not great.
