Multiple options for same memorized Payee

I am a landlord. Each tenant has a unique rental amount which will identify who that deposit belongs to if the name isn't available. I draw their rent through ACH and the name of the tenant will show up on the deposit. However, In the case of an NSF or Chargeback the bank does not identify which deposit was withdrawn from my account. The Payee will be shown as "Chargeback" when the funds are removed from my account. Within the current process Quicken now offers many possible identifiers that can be used to define a "Category", "Tag" and even change the name of the Payee (outputs). However, it can only accept one set of rules for a single memorized name. This means that I can only set up one rule for the payee "Chargeback".

My idea is to allow the original payee to give out a different set of outputs predicated on different inputs even if the memorized payee is the same. In that way if there were multiple transactions named "chargeback" it would then look for additional information on those payees such an a specific or between amount and depending on the amount of the transaction it could apply a different set of category, tags and even "Change payee name" in relation to that amount. The current process already everything except analyze the amount or other input to allow different outputs for the same original payee. In my case this rule would match up payments with deposits and assignee that transaction to a different defined set of outputs.

This is only 1 example where this would be extremely helpful. The same process would work for all manual deposits which are only downloaded from the band designating "Deposit" as the payee. We also experience multiple transaction that would carry the same utility company name. I believe there would be many areas where this would be extremely helpful.

A few updates ago Quicken added the ability to customize a Memorized Payee based on the account and amount. That doesn’t include changing the payee’s name but the rest can be done.
