Data transfer to new version?
I am on a really old version of Quicken Starter Edition for Windows- R36.54 which I guess was released at the end of 2021.
I just bought a new laptop. I like the version I'm on, but don't know if there is a way to transfer it to my new computer? Is there somewhere I can see what the newest version looks like? If I like it and decide to update, will all my data transfer over? I have been diligently using Quicken for 35 years!

R36.54 is what is called Subscription Quicken, which is includes the current release. Your data file is completely compatible with the current release of Quicken.
There is no "trial" version of Quicken, but they do honor a 30 day refund policy, so you would need to buy it, try it and return it if you didn't like it.
The only changes between 2021 and 2025 have been the online features which you haven't been using anyway since your subscription expired a long time ago, though I don't understand how you have been using Starter edition recently since those era Starter versions went into READ-ONLY mode when the subscription expired.
