"Cloud Account Not Found" (Q Mac) 2025

I see many posts with this error and yet it still persists.

I am on a Mac and have been using the Mac version for over a year but now all of a sudden I get this error message!

I then went to sign into the community board from the app and it says that it does not recognize my password. But if i open Google and sign in, all is good to sign in.

What is going on with Quicken and Mac??? 😫

Most importantly, how do i resolve?

Thanks.

    Hello @Sammy & @magoodm,

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention!

The “Cloud Account Not Found” error on Quicken for Mac usually occurs when there’s a temporary issue with your cloud account connection. Please review this support article that walks through the recommended steps to resolve this issue.

    Hope this helps!

After talking with Quicken support, we agreed that setting up a new cloud account is the only fix for this. It wasn't as bad as I feared. All of my investment accounts connected on their own but bank accounts and credit cards all needed to be set up again. It only took about a half hour to do everything and all transactions and balances seem to be ok.

@magoodm Thanks for the update! I’m glad to hear that setting up a new cloud account resolved the issue and that most of your accounts reconnected automatically. Your feedback is helpful for other users who might encounter the same “Cloud Account Not Found” error.

    Thank you!

Thanks magoodm for the post. I spent more like 45 minutes to do the reconnect. I did get some duplications in the recent downloads but managed to repair.

I did not reconnect my Fidelity account as that was the one that got me into this mess. Looking forward to Quicken fixing that one!
