I thought I set up an account for a new CD with my online bank but it does not show up in the Accounts List. HELP!

When you say you thought you had set up a new account, were these the steps you took to add it to Quicken?
Which financial institution is this account held with?
Did you see any error message when adding this account?

Also, for a CD, which would have VERY few transactions (1 a month at likely most), why are you setting it up as a separate account rather than as an investment in a brokerage type account?

Setting up a CD as an account could lead to MANY, MANY accounts, most of which would be closed … instead of using an investment which would use 1 account with multiple investments … and be much easier to manage.
