How do I get my Brokerage account in Investing to function properly and stop crashing Quicken?.

I have attempted a multitude of times to correct the shares and values in my brokerage account. I have tried deleting the account and starting over both electronically (web connect) and manually (offline), but I get the same results. Double the shares and values for each holding within the brokerage account. It makes no difference whether I set up the brokerage account as Simple or Complex.

Additionally, when I attempt to view the details of a holding to try to make changes, it crashes Quicken. I only have about 6 holdings in this account.

All 3 of my IRA accounts, each with significantly more holdings function properly. Shares and values are correct. I can view details of each holding without issue.

Q crashing suggests a SERIOUSLY corrupted data file. SO, have your tried to Validate you file?

SO, what Financial institution holds these accounts?
