I Keep Getting Reauthorization Requests Daily for Fidelity
Every morning I start Quicken and hit the update button. I instantly get a screen sying 'Your Financial Institution connection needs an update'. It also displays two accounts and under each (mine and my Wife's, and under each the specific accounts in each of our accounts.
I go through the steps, logging on to Fidelity, approving, then back to Quicken where I enter my vault password and it starts downloading. Then I shut down Quicken.
The next morning when I try to update again I get the same message. This happens every day for the past few weeks.
Fidelity says its Quickens problem, that they can do nothing.

I solved the problem. Kinda dumb on my part. After I closed the accounts I had forgotten that I needed to stop the download information. So I went in and sure enough they were still set for a download ability. And it looks like as long as an account CAN download Quicken wants to make sure it's authorized, even if you don't have One Step Update set to do that when you click on it.

Hello @Michael Winnick,
Thanks for reaching out and providing an update! Glad to see that you figured it out and we appreciate you sharing what worked, as it will be helpful for anyone else seeing daily reauthorization prompts.
Thank you!
