Finding duplicates

It was not hard to find the many duplicates in my linked checking account. But I just came across by chance two duplicate div in one of my stock positions. Is there any way to reveal duplicate entries throughout a quicken file?

At this time, Quicken does not include a built-in feature that automatically identifies duplicate transactions across your file.

However, one approach that may help is to sort your account register by Date (or by Payee/Amount, depending on the type of account). This can make duplicates easier to spot since identical or near-identical transactions will often appear next to each other when sorted this way.

There’s also this active Idea post requesting a tool or report to find duplicates.
