ONGOING 10/24/25 Fidelity Migration

As many fidelity account owners and quicken users are aware , Quicken has tasked Janean with maintaining an announcement with the title as described above. I thank Janean for that effort which was recently updated on 10-24-25. That announcement, however, does not cover all the quicken update and fidelity migrations using EWC+ that have occurred since that connection method was changed from DC. If you read through all the fidelity posts , you will agree with that statement.

I would like this thread to not be filled with numerous backend fix discussions or descriptions by super users on all the efforts made by them to "fix their accounts" or the system. SUPERUSERS, PLEASE STAY OUT OF THIS POST AND START YOUR OWN OR STAY IN ONE THAT WANTS TO DISCUSS THE EFFORTS TO FIX.

If we are paying for a software to do ACCOUNT UPDATES successfully , we should not have to make any substantial effort to correct the data that it uploads from a financial institution. Doesn't matter where the error originates . Quicken is selling a system that provides a data upload as part of it's package , so they are ultimately responsible for getting it right.

I would just like to hear about people who prior to all this confusion used the one step update button and it worked successfully without any other efforts by the user.

I would like to hear from someone in that group that took a two month old backup based on DC connections and successfully used a one step update and received accurate results using EWC+ connections without any further efforts to fix the data.

That is my current status. I try to update once per week and it comes back erroneous. I am not going to send in logs. screenshots , etc to create a problem ticket or whatever, nor do any other troubleshooting.

I am waiting for a new software update by quicken and fidelity that allows the one step update to correctly make that happen.

My subscription runs out in March of 2026. Until I hear about a success story, I will wait to try another one step update of my accounts. I am willing to delete all accounts and add them back on a onetime basis.

I am using another software to keep track of my budgets and spending in the meantime.
