As far as I know, quicken is updating but I can't download from Bank of America. I get a .OFX file instead of a .QFX file. What do I need to do?

Hello @clayful,
Thank you for posing this question.
Bank of America announced they were discontinuing this a few weeks ago. You can check out our Community Announcement about it.
The announcement also addresses the alternatives that you can use.
Hope this helps!

If you wish to continue to manually download your transactions (I do myself), you could download the OFX file and use ImportQIF (free and by one of our regulars here on the forum) to convert it into a .QIF file and import it.
I do this with Discover which no longer provides .QFX files, so I d/l a .CSV file and use ImportQIF.
The one downside to importing QIF files is that Quicken enters them directly into the account
withwithout them being displayed in the Downloaded Transactions tab, so it won't "match" to an existing transaction. That means that I never pre-enter any of my Discover card transactions, I tend to not do much of that with credit cards except for the payments from checking.[edited changed with→without]
