When a transaction is memorized, the amount is hard-wired in. It would be nice to update the amount to whatever is entered at it's last usage.

Based on your settings in the Memorized Payee List (MPL) for "Lock and leave this payee unchanged …" in tandem with the "Save to the Memorized Payee List" checkbox in the transaction or its Split dialog you can decide whether to update this payee's MPL entry or leave it unchanged.
