Investing - Portfolio Value by Security by [Time Interval]

I was advised that this suggestion may not have been made yet, so I'm adding it here.

Desire a way to report the historical values of one's portfolio, broken down by Security, on an interval basis similar to how it's implemented in QWin. For example, in QWin I have a report that provides me with a table: columns are the intervals, such as months (although it could be years, quarters, weeks, or even days), and rows are the value of each holding/security in that particular month for a specified range (e.g., past 12 months). The default QWin report 'Portfolio Value and Cost Basis' is what I use as the basis (although I personally ignore the Cost Basis data).

It seems this would be very similar in nature to the existing Net Worth by Month report, but instead of reporting by Account, it would report by Security.
