Duplicate Security Created

I am an Edward Jones client. What would be causing the duplication of a security during OSU?

Anything I can do stop it? Seem this is a Quicken bug

Windows 10 * Quicken Premier user.

Quicken user since 198x something. Started with Quicken for DOS 5.X

    Usually this is because the brokerage is presenting the security in a slightly different name format so that Quicken sees them as different. Not uncommon, and usually not a bug.

    (After creating a backup): Go into Window:Securities and locate the old and new Security in the list. Choose Merge Securities at the bottom. I suggest using the new fund name going forward when prompted.

    This should join the two.
