Quicken will not open. Error Msg states Server file failed to load

I tried to turn off the windows firewall no joy. I tried to open with a control click with the Quicken Icon click. No joy. I have searched google and Quicken web site. Nothing I found has worked to correct the problem.

    What version of Quicken are you trying to install? Or are you trying to reinstall an older version on a new computer?
    What version of Windows are you using?

    We haven't seen this particular error for quite a few years …
