Quicken Classic v.R64.35

I deleted a bunch of placeholders and now values under the brokerage account in the register do not match what is in my Fidelity account. Is it possible to restore the placeholders? If not, is there anything I can do to get the accounts to match up?

After searching the forum and the Internet for possible solution, I resorted to just restoring a backup in Quicken that restored the placeholders. I had to manual input transactions in the regular register for entries I did after that backup.

The problem with downloading from Fidelity still exist and supposedly Quicken is working on that fix.

Placeholders impact quantities, number of shares/units/bonds/etc., NOT directly values.

SO, what's incorrect? The number of units, or the quote per unit?

If it's the number of units, the next download should create the missing placeholders.

I guess it would be the shares, because it was the total money value of the brokerage account displayed in Quicken classic "Investments" that changed when I deleted the placeholders. I did a "update transactions" hoping it would bring back the placeholders, but it didn't. I know Quicken has had recent problems with updating investments from Fidelity.com, so I don't know if that has been corrected or if that is the reason the placeholders did not come back.
