setting up accounts as problematic as ever
Greetings,
After 17 years with the same file, I decided at year-end (now) to start a new file, keep both old and new updated for a few months, then switch to the new one in 2026.
Boy is this turning into an ordeal.
If I set up Schwab first, then it only finds some of my UBS accounts.
If I set up UBS first, then it does let me add all my Schwab accounts.
But now I wish to continue and add my Wells account, and Quicken skips the screen where one can decide, for each account, whether to add or link or ignore each of the accounts it found.
Rather, it just adds them to the register.
I can probably edit each individually to get where I want, but surprised this late in the game things are still problematic….

Hello @crownpointdude,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing these issues. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Do you keep your Quicken file directly on your local hard drive? Is it synced with any cloud services, such as OneDrive, iCloud, or Dropbox?
It is odd that Quicken would not see all your UBS accounts when you added Schwab first. I did notice you have several recent Quicken files. Some financial institutions are fussy about the same accounts being connected in multiple files. It is possible that is what caused the issue. Deactivating accounts in files that you are not using can help.
Was that add/link screen not coming up for your Wells Fargo accounts a one time issue, or does it happen every time? Did this happen when importing a file (QFX or CSV), or while connecting for download using Direct Connect?
I look forward to your response!
Quicken Kristina
