Yesterday, I updated my checking and several credit card accounts. I added transaction categories and reconciled the accounts. I backed up the file before I exited Quicken. Today, I logged into Quicken to continue updating. The transactions I categorized yesterday no longer showed categories and the accounts I reconciled are unreconciled. Nearly all the work I did yesterday is gone. I realize I can recover the updated file from the back up however I would like to understand why this is happening.
