Uploading QFX file from BofA
I tried to upload my BofA qfx file and got the following error message: "quicken is currently unable to verify the financial institution information for this download. Please try again." I know that the response to this is deactivating and then activating the account. However, in the process of activating, apparently, there is no way to avoid an "express update" which again, apparently, is an update by accessing the bank data directly. In the past (several years ago) I spent so much time trying to reconcile the result (and mistakes) of a One Step Update with my actual Bank Statement that I swore I would never use any sort of automatic update again. I do not trust quicken to identify where it stopped at the last update and I do not trust it to not duplicate transactions. Is there a way around this or do I have to be a past quicken customer.

You might want to consider using ImportQIF.
