OS 12.7.6 Monterey - Quicken Classic Premier
Reviving this question. Any word on when Quicken may discontinue operability (Operating, Updates, etc.)? I'm now at 8.3.3 and although a bit slow, it's stable.
Thanks,
Chris

Quicken 7.0 dropped 10.13 and 10.14 support in 4/23
Quicken 7.5 dropped 10.15 support in 1/24
Quicken 8.0 dropped 11 support in 1/25
So if they keep that trend up it'll happen by spring.
(Officially their policy is to support the current & previous 2 versions of Mac OS but in practice they seem to be a bit more generous than that.)

they don't announce that sort of thing in advance.
I'd slightly amend that statement to: "they don't announce that sort of thing very far in advance." With each of the recent changes @Jon listed above, they announced in the update prior to dropping OS support that it would be the last version to support a particular version of macOS.
Based on their typical cadence of releases, since Quicken Mac 8.3 was released in September (August 28, to be precise), we should expect one more release (presumably 8.4) before the end of this year. If the release notes say 8.4 is the last release to support macOS 12/Monterey, it would likely be 2 or 3 months until the next release which would require macOS 13/Ventura.
In short, you'll likely get a 2-3 month advance notice of when Quicken Mac is dropping support for an older macOS. If you are unable to upgrade your macOS by that time, you can continue using your current version of Quicken on the older OS somewhat indefinitely. (But if there is a change to Quicken's back-end systems for downloads, bill payment or other functions, you may need to update to the current version to keep utilizing that service.)

It's hard to say, they don't announce that sort of thing in advance. That said, in January Monterey became the oldest version of Mac OS that they support when 8.0 was released, so it'll be the next one to go. I would bet that it'll happen sometime next year.
