Merrill Benefits OnLine - Number of Shares Decimal Point off by Factor of 100

I have been using the new EWC+ simple investing connection to Merrill Benefits OnLine. All of my funds update fine except for one - the Vanguard Bond Index. Instead of pulling in the 547.6677 shares, it pulls in 5.47, forcing me to update shares after each OSU. Has anyone else experienced this or aware of a fix? Windows 11, R64.35; Build 27.1.64.35.

The "factor of 100" problem is common with bonds, but it it wasn't a problem before you changed the downloading method it would seem that something in the EWC+ process isn't working properly. Could be a problem on Merrill's end, a problem with the Aggregator (Intuit) or with Quicken itself. In any case I don't think it's likely fixable by you alone.

I'd suggest calling Official Quicken Support and reporting the problem to them so they can do the research to fix it.

When you say "pulling in" the 547.6677 and having to update shares, what exactly are you referring to here?

Is this Vanguard Bond Index security defined as Security Type = "Mutual Fund" or something else, like a Bond (which it isn't)?

I have exactly the same problem with my downloads from Merrill BOL: balances for my bond index fund gets downloaded with 100x fewer No. of shares. Sounds like a conversation with Online Support may be in order…

I called Quicken Support and they are useless. I also called Merrill and they stated it's on the Quicken/Intuit side. Regarding your question, by pulling in, I mean matching. All of my other funds match correctly to the fourth decimal. Why are we paying an annual subscription for a product riddled with bugs?

It was listed as Bond and I changed to Mutual to no avail.

It probably won't change incorrect existing transactions for you, but hopefully new transactions should be correct.
Can't confirm this, because I don't trade in Bond Index Funds.
