Calendar options...only "accounts" are availble and Bills...still can't figure out how to show that
Under what circumstances do the other options work? All I can do is select accounts.
Part of me tinkering with the calendar is I would really like a calendar that shows my exepcted inflows of wages and bills I have already setup on "Bills & Income". I don't want all the transactions, etc…just in vs out…essentially instead of a table interface on "bills", show me on the calendar. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here?

You aren't missing anything. That dialog is a standard picker used in multiple parts of the program, with some options unavailable (grayed out) if they don't pertain to the particular situation. In this case, the calendar is limited to account selection.
I don't know of a way to only display scheduled transx (Bills). I don't use the calendar much, but I do have one setup only to show cash/credit accounts to avoid the visual clutter. And this way it only shows scheduled transactions for future dates.
I personally use the Projected Balances view of Bills & Income to see all my schedtransx together.
