Version R65 Beta2(Nov, 2025)

Last update required an hour with tech support to fix what it broke! Don't want to do that again!

    Hello @dlgleber,

Thank you for reaching out! If you're on the Beta program, you may have different updates available to you. Currently, R65.15 is in staged release. If you are being prompted to install a Beta update patch, I'd recommend reaching out on the Beta section of the Community.

    I hope this helps!

Interesting. I did a clean install yesterday and was updated to the beta. I repeated the process and this time did not open Quicken at the end of the update. This time it stopped at the latest production release. I thought it was a one off but it looks like others had a similar experience.

    Hello @markus1957,

Thank you for letting us know you saw this issue also. To help investigate this issue, when you did the clean install, did you download Quicken to install it, or did you use an installer you already had saved? If you downloaded it, which URL did you download it from? Did the update to the beta version happen through the program, or did this happen when manually installing an update patch?

    Hello @leishirsute,

Did you encounter this issue also? If you are part of the Beta program and want to be removed from it, you can post the request in the Beta portion of the Community. You can also be automatically removed if you do not meet the participation requirements.

I look forward to your reply!

I've been bouncing back and forth from production to beta for a few cycles now just patching over my existing install. Also, I have been frustrated with splits in my income reminders getting jumbled after OSU. So, I decided after the beta concluded to do a clean install and update with the manual patch to R65.15 if the normal install did not get me there.

I first used an install I had saved, then downloaded it, but the file properties indicated they were the same files. Different results though.

The first time, after uninstalling and deleting all hidden Quicken folders, I rebooted and installed with my saved install version. After it opened my data file which had last been used with the beta, I checked the version. It showed the beta. I first thought maybe I clicked the beta install but I'm 99% sure I did not.

I did another clean install but this time, used a new install download and I closed the install when done rather than let it open the file. I then opened Quicken holding CTRL to get the blank open and checked the version. It was the latest R64 so I closed and installed the manual patch over it to R65.15. Running fine now.
